- Provide the Service: To calculate debt payoff projections, generate budgets, and power the velocity banking tools.

Your financial data is stored securely in our database with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We implement industry-standard security measures including:

- Authentication-gated access to all personal financial data
- No storage of banking credentials, account numbers, or Social Security numbers
Important: VeloBank never asks for or stores your bank login credentials, account numbers, routing numbers, or Social Security number. The financial data you enter (balances, rates, amounts) is self-reported and used solely for calculations.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- With Your Consent: When you voluntarily share success stories on the Community page, that content becomes publicly visible.
- Service Providers: We use third-party services for authentication (Manus OAuth), hosting, and database management. These providers only access data necessary to perform their services.
- Affiliate Partners: If you click on HELOC referral links, you will be directed to third-party lender websites. We do not share your financial data with these partners — only the click-through is tracked.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: You can view all your financial data at any time through the Dashboard.
- Export: You can export all your data as a JSON file using the Data Manager in Dashboard settings.
- Deletion: You can delete individual debts, income sources, expenses, and lines of credit at any time. To request complete account deletion, contact us.
- Opt-Out: You can disable notification reminders at any time in Dashboard settings.
- Guest Mode: You can use VeloBank without creating an account. In guest mode, all data is stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
VeloBank uses essential cookies for authentication sessions. We also use browser localStorage to store your financial data when using the app in guest mode (without an account). This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you create an account and choose to sync.
8. Third-Party Links
VeloBank may contain links to third-party websites, including HELOC lender referrals and educational resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
9. Children's Privacy
VeloBank is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
